“Oops”

This series explores the complicated transformation of becoming a mother. Created during and after my pregnancy, these images reflect my experience of postpartum depression, the loss of control I felt over my changing body and emotions, and the weight of expectations placed on motherhood. Returning to work intensified an overwhelming sense of mom guilt—the feeling that no choice was ever enough. Through these images, I confront the vulnerability, isolation, and conflicting identities that emerged during this transition, creating a visual record of a body and mind learning to exist in a new reality.
